In this place, O Lord, we come to bow down and worship. Not out of our abundant lives, but in Your abundant grace and mercy, we come.
To worship You with our thanks for Your Son, Jesus Christ, who gave His life for us. We thank You, Lord.
Hear our humble pleas for healing, for comfort, for strength and for mercy, dear God.
Early we seek You because of Your great love and Your tender mercy.
Move us today by the Word which became flesh and dwelt among us that we may learn of You as we hear it.
Order our lives that we may know You better and become more like You for having been here this morning.
Remove our bent to sinning for this hour with You.
Needing to be in Your presence, we sense a message from You in your Word today on how to live our lives in these days.
Instill in us a sense of urgency about the lives we live among the people You have put in our paths.
Newness of life is what we seek, O God. Help us to see and remove the example You have placed before us.
Great God, Holy Father, Savior and Friend, thank You for life itself, that we may live our lives in You today. In the name of the greatest example, Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen!
