Broken and Spilled Out…

Believing that we are all broken in one way or another in this life we live,

Revealed by the Word of God, we are sought by His Son in order to make us whole again.

Overwhelmed in this world of brokenness, we tend to think that we are like everyone else with which we come into contact.

Kneeling before God, we seek a renewal of spirit and a renewed zeal to know Him more.

Exhilarated, we feel when He speaks to us, personally, through His word and His Spirit.

Naive we have been to think that this world is our home when He tells us we have a home with Him.

Aloof we act when we believe we can live these days on our own.

Nonsense has become the norm as we continue to rely on this world for the answer to our questions.

Decayed and broken are the results of our attempts to renew and “fix” ourselves.

Still, God answers when we call! How can that be?

Persistent is His seeking us and His mercy to us!

Ignorant, we are, if we think that He does not care about and for us, even when we don’t ask Him for it.

Leaning in our direction, God is ever-present and ever-knowing of our brokenness.

Level is His place of abode. If we would but ask, no one can prevent us from living there with Him, even today.

Eternal Life is what He offers. Abundant Life is what it is, if we accept His gift.

Descriptive is this life with Him, as a life of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.

Overcome our pride, O God, as we long to live this kind of life here on this earth.

Use us, O Lord, to help heal the brokenness we see around us, by sharing the wholeness of life that comes from You.

Transform us into vessels of healing as we live and breathe and have our being in You.
