Jesus Christ the King…

Just to come into your presence, O Lord,

Enough for us to say, we love you and worship you, O Lord.

Secure in the knowledge that you are our God and Savior,

Under your wings of love we gather and fall down to worship you.

Sounding out the trumpet call to all to come and see your glory, dear Jesus.

Come, Holy Spirit, renew our hearts within us.

Help us to see you in the faces of those we meet along life’s path.

Reveal to us your holy will for us, individually and as your children.

Instill in us compassion for others as you have shown it in your compassion to us. Save us from ourselves, as we ask  for forgiveness from our sins.

Teach us to show your love as you show yourself to us.

The kingdom and the power are yours, O Lord.

Heal us from our sins and remake us into your holy image.

Eternal God, we long for your presence and your touch in our lives.

Keep us, Lord, in the gentle, but firm, grip of your hands.

In you, O Lord, sweet Jesus, we have our hope and trust.

Never depart from us, we pray; come and stay in our hearts forever.

Give us the realization of you kindling your fire within us to share your love and light to the loveless and dark world in which we live.

Thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayer. Even so, come quickly, Lord Jesus. Amen.

The Path Continues…
