Kindness, as it is used in the Bible, means to be kind-hearted. It is the good-natureness of love.

There are many Christians who are good people, but who tend to be unkind and constantly critical of everything.

Kindness seeks only the best for your fellow man, regardless of what he may do. It discards all bitterness and thoughts of revenge and lives in peace with everyone.

Love that is kind must be the distinctive characteristic of Christ’s followers.  Only then will we succeed in being his witnesses.

Our kindness must be evident to all people, not just those who are like us. Then they will ask about the source of our kindness and we can point them to Jesus, the Christ!

(Promises from God for Purposeful Living)

“Be kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.”

Ephesians 4:32 KJV
