(an acrostic prayer)

Risen Lord, Savior of us Your children, we come to worship, praising You as our Risen Redeemer today!

Enter into our celebration of worship today, as we remember Your passion for us as we bow in adoration of You, dear Lord.

Show us Yourself in Your Word today as we read and listen to Your Holy Spirit making it come alive in us, Father.

Under the shadow of Your cross and in the opening of Your empty tomb, we come in awe and wonder to worship, O God!

Rekindle the flame of Your love within us as we pause to remember a love that died for us and that now is alive and wants to live in us today, Father.

Remove the sin of doubt from our minds today, O God. Help us to believe in faith that You are indeed risen from the grave.

Enliven our witness of Your love as we worship today, Father. May we be so much in love with You that we spill out to others as You spilled out for us, O Lord.

Come, Lord Jesus, even come quickly to save this dying world and renew us for the coming days as we wait for You.

Take away our bent to sin, Lord. Lead us not into temptation and forgive our sins today, Father.

Involve us in the proclamation of Your love to this world as we speak to, and live among, those who do not know your undying love for them, Father.

Open the eyes of our hearts to see and to love those You bring into our paths daily, those who need to know You, dear Jesus!

Nearer, still nearer, draw us nearer to You today as we declare: “He Is Risen! He Is Risen Indeed!” Thank You, Father for loving us enough to die for us and for rising from death to show the power of Your love for us.

In the name of our Risen Savior, Jesus Christ, we pray!! Amen and Amen!

The Path Continues…
